The iconic Australian blue banded bee forms the design of this gorgeous pair of earrings.  Made from a carefully cut and hand textured brass bee, the form sways gently off an embossed recycled sterling silver or titanium droplet, and is accompanied by a sterling silver bar and droplet which sways below.  raindrop markings on bush form using remnant titanium.  The bee has a beautiful patina and flame-treated surface, creating a beautiful speckled moon-like surface ranging from salmon to blue.  Super lightweight to wear, the artwork shifts colour when worn in daylight.
 
This artwork measure approximately 5.5cm and has been sealed with either a light coat of renaissance micro-crystalline wax or low VOC spray to protect the surface - this does sometimes effect the flamed patinas.  Like nature, it will age over time with the organic hues becomming more muted.

I have included a premium quality gift box and an anti-tarnish tab to protect each item from oxidisation (place in a bag or box and keep sealed, ideal for silver, brass, copper & bronze).
